Access Legal, a leading provider of software and services to the legal market, is hosting two IT forums for legal professionals to connect with industry experts for discussions and insights around data security, remote working and customisation of legal tech. Attendees will also be able to gain tailored advice and guidance on the range of legal technology available.

The Legal IT Forums will take place in city centre locations in Birmingham and Leeds in March, featuring respected and recognised local lawyers and legal tech experts. The panel will include specialists from Access Legal, Rich Webb, IT director at Thursfields in the West Midlands and James Hood head of IT at LCF law in Yorkshire.

All the experts will give like-minded professionals a chance to network and discuss issues relevant to the legal sector as well as advice on their own technology solutions. Topics of discussion will include data security and privacy, cyber incidents, customisation and scalability, remote work enablement and Microsoft 365 Security.

Mr Webb said: “It’s not often we get so many knowledgeable legal IT experts in one room, so I’m delighted to be invited to take part. These IT forums are a perfect opportunity for our legal colleagues to network and discuss important issues affecting the sector today from people outside of their organisation and to hear directly from industry experts.”

The events have been organised by the team at Access Legal’s cloud hosting service, Access Managed Services, around the theme of Transforming the Legal Landscape through Technology will feature insightful talks plus a Q&A.

Chris Morris and Jon Cuthbert, IT specialists at Access Managed Services and Dom Wakelin, service delivery manager will also feature on the panel.
