Funding care and support in later life: navigating the system

In 2024, there are now 22 million people aged over 50 in England, which is the equivalent to two in five of the total population. This is increasing rapidly and is expected to rise by a further 19.3% between 2024 and 2044 (an increase of 4.3 million people).
