Seven Stars Legal Funding was established in 2022 as a specialist private credit investment company working within the well-regarded and regulated UK legal services sector, specifically by providing secured lending to UK-regulated law firms for litigation cost financing across high-volume consumer claims.

The Company was founded and is led by a team whose founders have a combined career track record of deploying over GBP 380 million in litigation funding investments through prior ventures, a track record separate from Seven Stars Legal’s own lending activity, before identifying a much wider need for funding facilities within the industry and building this business to meet it.

Since launch, Seven Stars has funded over 73,000 claims across various case types and, as at 31 July 2026, holds security of approximately GBP 68 million against all claims held across a granular lending portfolio. These figures are supported by an independent limited assurance engagement performed by UK chartered accountants under ISAE 3000 (Revised).

By financing claims that would otherwise go unfunded and therefore potentially not pursued, Seven Stars enables individuals to access representation they could not afford on their own.
