The conveyancing protocol – what’s changing?
Available from: 06/11/2026
The Law Society is consulting on an update to the Conveyancing Protocol. Some of the changes propose:
- A tightening of provisions relating to additional enquiries
- Updates to reflect the way in which the TA6 should be utilised
- Guidance on responsibility for documents such as Planning Consents
- A recognition of digital practices
- Strengthening guidance on client and source of funds checks
- Changes in respect of leasehold transactions
In this webinar David Keighley, who is a member of the Law Society committee which drafted the changes, will consider the key aspects in respect of both the proposed changes and the consultation process.
