Joanne Witherington

Joanne (Jo) is a Senior Practice Development Lawyer at Irwin Mitchell. She assists colleagues with technical queries, horizon scanning (law reform, legislative changes and Court Judgments), delivering training and drafting policy, guidance and best practice notes.

Jo is closely involved in consultation work on justice reform, including current proposals on determining mental capacity in court proceedings. She has a particular interest in the expanding role of technology in litigation and has contributed to a number of consultations on this topic.
