Landmark comments on Prime Minister’s commitment to boost home sales
With the arrival of the new Prime Minister, Mr Johnson has already stated his intentions of injecting a long-overdue boost in to the UK’s property market. This is certainly welcome news to help revitalise what is currently a flat market, which is down by around 5% when compared with the same period last year. Brexit and prohibitive taxation has certainly made its mark and HMRC is already estimating that July will be significantly down compared to this time last year.

GDPR compliance still lagging
More than one year after implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), nearly one-third of companies doing business in the EU have failed to achieve compliance with the regulation. Further, only 57% of those tasked with managing organisational GDPR compliance express confidence that their business is actually following the rules (EBA).
