It is well known within the legal profession that while lawyers may not have a great reputation with the public as a whole, consumers are far warmer about their own solicitor. A Law Society survey released last week said that nine out of 10 people would recommend their solicitor to a friend, and personal recommendation remains the primary method by which law firms attract new clients.
