| 6 June 2019 When we began publishing in 2010, the Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007 was in force, having only replaced the Guide to the Professional Conduct of Solicitors less than three years earlier, but it was soon replaced with a new code in 2011 – and now, eight years on, it too is to be ditched in favour of Standards & Regulations. The settling-in period for this new regime will no doubt give us here at Legal Futures plenty more to write about, especially as it does more than its predecessors to enable new ways for solicitors to practise.
