PI Futures 2018

September 2018: Where next for the personal injury market?

PI Futures 2018 took place as the Civil Liability Bill was passing through Parliament, and delegates heard from those involved in putting the claimant case to politicians and discussed the impact on lawyers, claims companies, medical reporting organisations, funders and others involved in the industry. Other topics included challenges to deductions from damages, the continuing viability of the 100% success fee model for low-value claims, enduring questions about MedCo, and the impact of fixed fees and defendant tactics in relation to holiday sickness claims. The conference also featured a panel of market leaders discussing what firms should be doing to prepare for the future.

Audio recordings of the conference sessions and slides are available to purchase for £75 + vat. Please contact us for details.
