Top 100 UK firm, Simons Muirhead & Burton, have signed with Tikit  for HP WorkSite, DocAuto’s Workspace Manager and Tikit Filenote. The project will start immediately and will be delivered alongside their new finance system.
Irwin Mitchell, an existing client of Tikit in UK, has signed a deal to expand the use of Worksite across the rest of their Business Legal Services users.
Recently Tikit announced its partnership with Prosperoware. Clyde and Co and Dentons are the first firms to benefit from this collaboration and have contracted Tikit to integrate Prosperoware’s software with their existing WorkSite platform, to improve the security surrounding confidential data the support and performance of their WorkSite environments.
Since the acquisition in January 2013, Tikit’s expertise in Legal IT and BT’s infrastructure capabilities have struck a chord with many leading UK law firms.
For example CMS Cameron McKenna, have appointed Tikit and BT Business Solutions to install a LAN and Wi-Fi at their Bristol offices.
In addition to this UK Top 50 Law firm, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) has asked the team to implement a LAN upgrade. The firm evaluated a number of companies before embarking upon this major project.
Drummond Miller have asked Tikit and BT Business to provide the firm with an Ethernet network solution enabling continued and seamless functionality during their office relocation.
Tikit Managed Services have been engaged to provide 2nd line support for chartered accountants and registered auditors, Lewis Golden & Co. Also Teacher Stern is the first firm to benefit from their new partnership with cloud backup and disaster recovery provider, Databarracks who are delivering ‘Backup as a Service’ to this expanding law firm.
Tikit has reported a record year for sales to mid-tier law firms with revenues up 34%.
At the end of the first sales year, from the date of the acquisition, sales were up 34% and included the two largest Partner for Windows (P4W) sales on record (Knights Solicitors LLP and BT Law/BTLegal). In March alone, four firms signed up with Tikit to install their practice and case management software, P4W. The general upturn in legal sector confidence is repeated amongst existing clients with a growing number extending their commitment with additional licences for new staff alongside the purchase of complementary software modules. These include the increasingly popular WebShare (on-line collaboration tool), TikitConnect (Outlook-based, contact management and eMarketing module); which use the Partner for Windows database to eliminate duplication and maximise opportunity for business development.
Tikit are on a roll in North America, successfully signing up two more firms.
Tikit will be rolling out Template Management System across Am Law 200 firm, Goulston & Storrs. The firm needed an intuitive solution that would allow them to create and manage templates themselves without the need for coding. The 200+ lawyer firm also had a requirement for a powerful time recording tool which would allow their often mobile lawyers, to instantly capture billable time. Tikit met this requirement with Carpe Diem Mobile.
Goodwin Procter LLP also recognised the benefits of Tikit’s time recording technology, making the decision to replace their current time capture software with Tikit’s Carpe Diem Enterprise and Carpe Diem Mobile solutions. Goodwin Procter is a global law firm with more than 850 attorneys located in 8 offices in the U.S., London and Hong Kong. The firm wanted an integrated, collaborative system for time capture, allowing the firm to capture time in an efficient manner.
