[1]Professor Dominic Regan runs university style masterclasses in law firms, with Burcher Jennings
Law firms are being temporarily transformed into universities for their partners in an initiative from leading costs and pricing consultancy, Burcher Jennings.
As part of the Burcher Jennings costs programme, firms are being offered a masterclass with leading law academic Professor Dominic Regan. Professor Regan was adviser to Lord Justice Jackson as he devised the new civil costs regime and is widely acknowledged as the UK’s leading academic on legal costs.
The Burcher Jennings costs programme is a half day learning experience, led by an experienced costs lawyer, designed to build expertise among fee earners and colleagues. Firms undertaking the programme have reported significant improvements in revenue and profitability.
Now selected firms are to benefit from Professor Regan’s involvement, alongside Burcher Jennings team of experienced costs practitioners, led by Rob Parness.
Professor Dominic Regan said:
“Costs is an often misunderstood field. It is certainly complex. I hope that I can explain some of the rationale behind the Jackson approach and offer some tips on how to identify and overcome the most common problems and possible mistakes.”
