Thames Water Property Searches take part in London Legal Walk
A team from Thames Water Property Searches [1] donned their walking shoes on Monday 19 May and limbered up to join 514 other teams who were taking part in this year’s London Legal Walk.
The Property Searches team took around two and half hours to complete the 10km walk, enjoying the sunshine and the sights en route, and spurred on by the fabulous cheerleaders! We are happy to report there were no muscle strains, just the odd blister or two.
The London Legal Walk, organised by the London Legal Support Trust, has become the social and sporting event of the legal calendar and raises much needed funds to support free legal advice charities in London and the South East. Over £500,000 has been raised so far and, with the recent cuts in legal aid, this funding will be essential to continue supporting the most vulnerable of people in our community.
