A stellar start to 2016 for Advanced as more Top 200 firms sign up for Laserform Hub

AdvancedLegal200 [1]Advanced Legal [2] has seen a strong start to 2016, with 36 firms signing up to use Laserform Hub, the secure, cloud-based SaaS platform that unifies submissions to government portals. Many of these firms are from the Top 200 legal practices in the UK.

Laserform Hub is unique in the market – developed to enable law firms to meet the Government’s ‘digital by default’ strategy by allowing secure electronic form submission to multiple government portals from a single location.

The application also includes business-focused capabilities such as auditing and reporting on submissions, team working, risk management, data validation and collaboration.

The Hub enables law firms to reduce the time taken to register a mortgage with the Companies House gateway from close to the 21 day deadline to on average 24 hours – the first solution of its kind to deliver this. Recently it won the ‘Innovation (Non-Lenders)’ accolade of the Mortgage Finance Gazette Awards 2016.

Many of its features are seen by those that use it as business critical. Among the earliest adopters of the service was Schofield Sweeney, who quickly saw the benefits that this new platform would bring.

Graham Sweeney, operations director, Schofield Sweeney says, “Innovation is important for our practice; being involved early in the development of Laserform Hub has given us the opportunity to feed into the finished application.

“We have been using Laserform Hub for Companies House mortgage filing, and recently adding SDLT and Land Registry submissions to the platform means we can submit all of these from one application.

“The cloud-based application is quick and easy to use, and with no additional overheads we could just go ahead and try it, fitting it in within our established process.”

The SDLT and Land Registry portals are new additions to the Laserform Hub, currently being used in a live environment by early adopters such as Schofield Sweeney. Over the next month this new series of gateways will be fully launched to market.

Doug Hargrove, managing director, Advanced Legal, says, “The start of 2016 has been great for Laserform Hub – the rate of sign up to use the service has been fantastic and a clear reflection on the quality of the platform.  Firms are seeing the value that the Laserform Hub can bring and recognise that we are delivering a solution that really fits their needs.

“We are really excited about the addition of Land Registry and SDLT to the platform and know that with the other gateways that we have in development, 2016 and beyond is going to be great for Laserform Hub.”
