SLC members set to benefit from access to exclusive new ordering platform

As of today, the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) has launched a new electronic ordering platform, which will give its members access to a range of conveyancing products and services, all available at discounted rates.

Through a partnership with ETSOS, the SLC is able to offer its members access to a single point of ordering for a host of different solutions required throughout any conveyancing transaction. Orders can be placed online at the click of a button and will be returned electronically, helping to reduce the administrative burden on some conveyancers. The new platform will allow SLC members to offer their customers a number of products, all at discounted rates, while benefitting from a fast and efficient service.

The first products to be made available through the platform are Legal Indemnity Insurances provided by Conveyancing Liability Solutions (CLS), Surveys, provided by the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) insurance, offered by SGL. – as well as the full range of conveyancing searches.

John Clay, Chairman of the SLC said: “As we face increasingly competitive times, being able to access a full suite of conveyancing products quickly, from one online location and at discounted prices will help to give our members a real competitive advantage. The new electronic platform will provide a fantastic opportunity to order a full suite of products all at the click of button, providing the upmost in speed and convenience, not only for the conveyancer, but for the consumer as well.”

Philip Natusch, Managing Director at ETSOS added: “We have been working closely with the SLC to deliver this integrated ordering solution across a range of conveyancing products, from Home Condition Surveys and Title Insurance to Property Searches. We believe the new platform will prove an important tool, helping to streamline the current ordering process while saving SLC members both time and money.”

A series of additional product offerings are also in the pipeline and are expected to include removals, household insurance and specialist electric and gas surveys. In addition, ETSOS will also act as a platform for ordering and receiving a variety of property searches, from a range of suppliers.

All SLC members will be invited to use the new platform, where they can access products from a wide selection of nationwide suppliers. Discounts will be available and a simple and straight forward online ordering process will support a fast and efficient transaction.
