Slater & Gordon [2], one of the UK’s largest law firms, now offers a full range of legal business services solutions to its clients, including a specialist real estate team of 41.

The firm, which offers legal advice across 18 offices in 13 locations including London and Manchester, now offers extensive real estate-focused legal services in the regeneration and development fields, planning, property management and investment and all areas of residential and commercial property work.

Following the recent acquisition of Pannone Solicitors, Slater & Gordon now offers a comprehensive business and specialised litigation services division.

Apart from real estate, other business legal service areas include local and public law governance, outsourcing and shared services, disputes and judicial review, public procurement and employment issues.

Slater & Gordon Head of UK, Neil Kinsella, said: “Following the acquisition of the majority of Pannone Solicitors we have become one of the UK’s largest law firms.”

He said the firm now had a strong emphasis on building its real estate and business services team.

Neil Kinsella: “Building our business services practice area is a vital step in Slater & Gordon’s aim of becoming the UK’s leading law firm and our mission of providing everyday people, business men and women and our public sector clients with easier access to world class legal services.

“The real estate team will continue to focus on all areas of commercial and residential property work, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant, development, regeneration and housing and will continue to serve its impressive mix of private, public and third sector clients from a strong base within Slater & Gordon.

“By working alongside our property lawyers in London, we are looking to growing a significant commercial and residential real estate practice in the UK and the acquisition of the Manchester-based Pannone real estate team is a significant step for us in this practice area.

“The firm wishes to build on the strong north west and national client base and the excellent reputation the Pannone team has. The national real estate practice for Slater & Gordon is run out of Manchester and is led by Stephen Lintott, who was the head of real estate at Pannone.”

Slater & Gordon head of real estate Stephen Lintott said: “We are looking forward to significantly developing the real estate practice, building on the foundations laid by both the teams in Manchester and London. We believe the move will allow the real estate practice to grow across all streams of work, including our significant development and regeneration practice areas, opening up opportunities for the team and our clients. “
