Sills & Betteridge signs up to SOS Connect

Solicitors Own SoftwareEast Midlands law firm Sills & Betteridge Solicitors has signed up to integrated practice and case management with SOS Connect from Solicitors Own Software after a decade of growth.

A full service law firm with eight offices across Lincolnshire and Nottingham, Sills & Betteridge has seen rapid expansion over the past ten years.

Martyn Hall, Practice Director, says the aim is to go live with SOS Connect early next year, after its integration with the firm’s new document management and existing conveyancing case management systems.

“The decision to invest in a new practice management system was made with the aim of improving efficiency across the entire firm,” he says.

“Crucially, SOS Connect is very flexible so we can adapt the system to any process we want.

“We looked at what systems were out there focusing on systems which were aimed at mid-sized high street firms with more than 250 users. Publicly funded work is a significant part of the firm so we were looking for a system which could handle legally aided work.

“SOS was certainly the most impressive of the providers in this respect with even the considerably larger firms not having the same legal aid offering.

“We are confident that SOS Connect will enable us to streamline all of our key processes and provide the foundation for the next stage of the firm’s expansion plans.”

Graham Colbourne, managing director of SOS, said: “Sills & Betteridge has enjoyed a period of rapid growth and now has several offices, so it required a system which could provide a more unified approach. We look forward to working with the firm on the roll-out of SOS Connect.”
