Shortlist for the 2018 Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence Announced

Land DataLand Data [1], the National Land Information Service (NLIS) regulator, has revealed the shortlist for the 2018 Land Data Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence.  The Awards celebrate the successes of Local Authority Local Land Charges departments across England and Wales during the past year.

This year the shortlist showcases 49 local authorities and 17 individuals who have all demonstrated excellence, adaptability to change and a willingness to improve despite cost pressures and continued upheaval in the market.

The shortlist has been drawn from 268 entries & nominations submitted by a mixture of people including solicitors, conveyancers and local land charges personnel. The sponsors and judging panel is made up of representatives from the Local Land Charges Institute, the NLIS Hub, Index, SearchFlow and Land Data.

The overall winners will be announced at an awards dinner on 5th March 2018 in Bristol.

The categories are:
