With the Government publishing revised laws that permit house moving activities to recommence in England from today, SearchFlow – the UK’s leading provider of conveyancing search solutions – is welcoming the changes that have been introduced.

The Housing Secretary last night announced that estate agents, conveyancers and house movers could re-open, on the condition that safe physical distancing rules are adhered to.

“With an estimated 386,000 house transactions paused since March, the announcement by the Housing Minister is a major step in reinvigorating a property market that not only employs hundreds of thousands of people, but will provide an important and timely financial boost to the country’s economy,” states Dr Thomas Quirke, Managing Director of SearchFlow.

“Since lockdown commenced, we have been 100% operational and have continued to support conveyancers’ in getting the data they need to enable transactions to reach the pre-exchange and completion stage.  Now restrictions have been lifted, conveyancing professionals are in a position to get the industry safely moving once again across England and we are here to fully support them.”

With more than one million conveyancing searches and legal reports run every year for over 2,000 legal clients across England and Wales, SearchFlow is the leading provider of comprehensive searches, surveys, identity checks and conveyancing insurance solutions and prides itself in working in partnership with its clients to provide solutions that enable competitive advantage.
