Experts from an array of industries will bolster the business’s skill set to ensure solicitors have additional tools and services they need to help drive their businesses forward.

“There’s so much potential to develop innovative products, services and solutions for conveyancers. We’re at the forefront of this and want to maintain our position so that we can continue to help progress the conveyancing industry,” comments John Pickford, managing director of SearchFlow.

“To help us achieve this we’ve looked at experts from across many sectors – not just conveyancing and legal – to reinforce our team with the best of the best. We’ve adopted this approach so that we can bring in people with strong digital, telecoms and data backgrounds, who bring fresh, progressive thinking to the fore.”

Simon Wood joins as SearchFlow’s new director of residential sales.

Simon led a significant migration from a traditional print directory business to an online digital advertising platform in his former position as sales director at Thomson Local. Prior to this he spent 16 years in mobile telecoms. Daniel Clements takes the position of director of commercial sales having previously worked at EGI, where he was instrumental in the transition of customers from print to an online subscription service over the past 15 years.

Daniel has excellent knowledge of the commercial property market and has a proven track record in working with customers to devise solutions to help them be more effective. Both Simon and Daniel bring a wealth of experience in dealing with customers and problem solving challenges to help them run successful, efficient and profitable operations.

SearchFlow has also created a position of head of innovation to spearhead the business’s delivery of new products that will help make lawyers’ lives even easier. Kris Clark takes this role and brings 12 years’ experience in the conveyancing industry.

During this time he was involved in a number of product launches and developments. He has also implemented a number of strategies which saw him take digitised data sets into new markets. His extensive understanding of property data will help SearchFlow bring new technical solutions and services to the conveyancing marketplace.

“I’m delighted that we’ve been successful in securing experts who share our passion for helping customers succeed,” Pickford adds.

“They are innovative and enthusiastic in their approach to how we support customers. This is an exciting year for us and we’re looking forward to what the next six months will bring.”

As well as hiring new staff, SearchFlow is investing heavily in strengthening the abilities of its existing workforce. In addition to continuous development plans, 10 service employees are undertaking company-funded NVQ’s to add to their list of existing qualifications.

“While we’re investing heavily in new recruits, we appreciate it’s our loyal staff who have made sure we’ve been able to maintain our position as a leading search provider,” says SearchFlow’s quality and service director, Sally Richards.

“Our service continues to improve upon its already high standards, revealed in our latest NPS [Net Promoter Score] of 63%, an increase of more than five percent since January this year. We’re proud to say this figure is comparable with the likes of Amazon and Apple, demonstrating our commitment to our service and our clients.”
