SearchFlowSearchFlow, the market leading provider of conveyancing search solutions in the UK, is delighted to announce it is the headline sponsor of the second annual ESTAS Conveyancer Awards for 2018, following the successful inaugural event which took place in October this year.

The two year deal confirms SearchFlow as the headline sponsor while sister companies Landmark Information – a leading land, property and environmental data company, and Ochresoft – the legal case management workflow specialists, will be associate sponsors.

This year the awards, which are independently voted for by the home buying and selling clients of legal conveyancing firms, received a total of over 5,000 customer votes. All votes were verified and counted to determine Gold, Silver and Bronze winners by region and category, and provided a great deal of accurate and valuable service feedback.

Confirms Carole Marsden, UK Sales Director for SearchFlow: “The inaugural ESTAS Conveyancer Awards were a great success, and provide a real barometer of the market in terms of the customer service provided by conveyancing professionals.  We were so impressed with the feedback received, demonstrating that there is real innovation taking place in the sector. We are delighted to once again support The ESTAS as the headline sponsor for its 2018 event.”

Adds Simon Brown, Founder of The ESTAS Group: “Our feedback platform provides firms with a simple tool to measure levels of service and generate valuable client testimonials.  We live in a world where customer reviews are becoming increasingly important in the consumer decision making process.

“We’re thrilled to have such long term commitment from one of the leading suppliers to the conveyancing sector.  I can’t emphasise how important their support has been in helping us to launch the awards and create a client feedback programme which really benefits firms. I’m really exciting about how we can develop things over the next two years.”

Entry to the ESTAS Conveyancer Awards 2018 is now open and there are categories for single branch firms, regional groups, national firms and also suppliers to the sector. Benefits to conveyancers start as soon as they register with a range of marketing tools including a service themed social media campaign and customer feedback reports. The 2nd annual ESTAS awards ceremony will take place on Friday 19th October 2018 at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London.

The event will be hosted by The ESTAS brand ambassador and TV personality Phil Spencer.

Spencer, the UK’s best loved TV Property Expert said; “Taking part in The ESTAS sets firms apart from their competitors.  It sends a clear message that they are passionate about customer service, prepared to go that extra mile for their clients and keen to listen to feedback.  The ESTAS help firms to focus on service levels and raise standards across the property sector that we all work in.”

Don’t get caught out by the traditional equity partnership model

David Beech 2

It’s no secret that these are challenging times for some of the UK law sector as it tries to keep up with emerging digital trends and increasing demand from clients. But there is buoyancy in the market and opportunities for those businesses that are agile and brave enough to challenge the status quo – the traditional equity partnership model. We’ve seen it all too often where partners have been duped into putting their assets against a failing business that is riddled with debt. We’ve even received calls from partners to discuss bankruptcy and that the possibility of moving house is no longer possible, due to the LLP they joined going into liquidation.
