[1]Search Acumen [2] has become the first conveyancing search provider to offer its clients access to My Legal Indemnity Shop, a ground-breaking new tool which gives conveyancers a one-stop shop to source competitive quotes and combine policies for legal indemnity insurance.
This new partnership will provide access to Search Acumen clients, as the online service becomes more widely available through this year.
My Legal Indemnity Shop has been developed by DUAL Asset Underwriting, part of The DUAL Group, the world’s largest international underwriting agency. It gives residential conveyancers a choice of legal indemnity quotes from a panel of insurers including RSA, Elite, and XL Catlin.
Conveyancers can review quotes for up to forty products, including common requirements for property transactions in England and Wales such as Chancel Repair, Building Regulations Consent and Search Indemnities.
Having made their selection, conveyancers can combine up to four products under a single quote without needing to arrange separate policies. Bespoke policies are available for anyone requiring more than four products to be rolled into one.
The partnership builds on Search Acumen’s commitment to deliver essential data to conveyancers and help simplify the due diligence process involved in property transactions.
It means conveyancers who need to secure legal indemnity insurance can move directly to My Legal Indemnity Shop once they have requested searches via Search Acumen’s streamlined portal: saving time and offering an extra service.
