Professional probate applications must now be submitted online

As of 2 November 2020, new rules came into force that mandate the use of MyHMCTS for most Grant of Probate applications. Paper applications will no longer be accepted as of 30 November 2020. This change is the government’s response to a consultation on proposals for probate applications from professional users, which will help to modernise the probate service as well as save money.
