Peppermint apprentices – you’re hired!

Legal technology innovator Peppermint Technology [1] is delighted to support the development of the UK’s young talent by hiring four apprentices under the Microsoft-supported Apprenticeship Scheme.

The apprentices will fulfil roles in Peppermint’s development and support departments where they will gain exposure to Peppermint’s products and business. As part of the programme, each apprentice will receive one year’s training investment from Microsoft to gain relevant qualifications that are equivalent to Level 3 and 4 City & Guilds.

In a time when many businesses are struggling, Peppermint is breaking the mould and enjoying considerable success in establishing itself as the new market leader in the crowded legal technology market. Following more than two years in development, Peppermint’s Legal Service Platform was launched earlier this year. In February 2012 the first client, DLA Piper-backed Riverview Law, went live and operational, followed by PI specialist Tandem Law. With many more in the pipeline, Peppermint is set to be one of the decade’s big success stories.

Peppermint’s CEO, Arlene Adams says, “I am delighted Peppermint is able to offer four young talented individuals a chance to build a career. Young people today face enormous pressures and cost when trying to establish themselves in the work environment and this apprenticeship scheme offers them a great opportunity. Peppermint’s success to date is largely down to its people, many of which are from the Nottingham area. It’s important we continue to invest in the community and nurture the fresh new talent it has to offer. The apprentices offer a different perspective to our traditional thinking and I believe this will really help Peppermint deliver a better experience to customers.”
