OneSearch Direct, the largest local authority data search company in the UK, has announced that it now supplies Betteridges Solicitors.   Betteridges provides conveyancing services to clients in Hertfordshire and Essex and now uses OneSearch Direct for residential search results and indemnity policies.

“We chose OneSearch Direct because we were experiencing repeated delays and invoicing issues with our old suppliers,” confirms Stuart Farrar, Betteridges Solicitors.

“Previously, we found widely varying timescales for the return of searches, there was no clear invoicing system plus the support lines to expedite or enquire about searches were unresponsive.

“Now our searches are powered by OneSearch Data, we have found the accurate information and turn-around times advantageous,” confirms Farrar.  “The documentation is easy to forward to clients, and add to our case management software and in addition, the fee is competitive and our clients really appreciate the added security of the buyer’s assured residential abortive transaction insurance as well as the no-hassle chancel insurance.

“Because we can now provide both our clients and the estate agents with turnaround time information, update calls have been reduced and we can be more accurate when it comes to formulating likely timescales for exchanges and completions,” explains Farrar.

“The online ordering of searches is very quick and easy and overall we have been extremely impressed with the level of service and product from OneSearch Direct.”

“As the largest local authority data search company in the UK we have invested around £10 million in the integrity of our data set and the accuracy of the information we supply is paramount,” explains Ronnie Park, managing director, OneSearch Direct.

“We have more than 30 people permanently employed to ensure information is updated on a daily basis and making our vast database of local authority information accessible to different markets is a key part of our business.  We are delighted to now be supplying Betteridges Solicitors with our residential search results and indemnity policies.”

Inbound marketing for law firms – For those about to flock

Chris Davidson Moore LT

Written in honour of Malcolm Young, recently deceased founding member of AC/DC, there are nine references to AC/DC songs throughout this article. We will send a £20 iTunes voucher to the first person who gets in touch to tell us what they are. The forces that are driving change in the legal profession are wide and varied. The ability of law firms and individual solicitors to respond positively and innovatively to these challenges will determine who survives and prospers. Competition for new business is fierce, a dog eat dog world, one might say. Which brings us to AC/CD. Not my favourite rock band, but an acronym for Attract, Convert, Close and Delight – the four pillars of inbound marketing.
