New Startup Vanessa Newman Property Lawyers Chooses Hoowla as their Case Management Software

vanessaNewmanHoowlaWith over 20 years experience in the property market and seven years as a licensed conveyancer, Vanessa Newman knows that the key to a smooth property transaction is communication and the understanding that each person’s transaction is of major importance and completely personal to them.

She prides herself on her communication with clients and ensuring that everything is explained thoroughly and in straight forward terms that are easy to understand.

Vanessa believes that a modern conveyancing firm should offer clients a personal service combined with leading technology to provide the best possible experience and ensure that the transaction reaches completion as quickly as possible.

We asked them a few questions about why they picked Hoowla.

Why was Hoowla the chosen supplier for Vanessa Newman Property Lawyers?

I liked the case by case payment scheme which keeps outlay low at the start of a new business and even if the business grows significantly the costs remain comparable.

I wanted a CMS that offered me the same kind of customer care that I offer my clients and in my initial contacts with Hoowla it seemed obvious that their ethos was the same as mine in relation to customer care.

Hoowla really understood my needs and requirements and the concerns as a new start up.

How are you benefiting from using Hoowla? What are the key points where Hoowla has made your case management and quoting more efficient?

I use both Hoowla’s Conveyancing Quote Calculator and their Case Management software for the business. The quoting tool has been installed on every page on my website to allow clients to request an immediate conveyancing quote at any time.

A dedicated login has also been provided to one of the agents I work with to make quoting simpler for them and enable them to easily pass work through to me.

I like that the quote calculator automatically calculates stamp duty and that this is updated immediately with all stamp duty changes.

With the case management system I can build my own workflows to suit requirements for different matters. Hoowla’s integration with the Land Registry and Index Search Providers means I can request documents without having to leave Hoowla or double enter data and their AML integration also means I can easily ID check clients within the system.

It’s easy to add emails to a case using their Outlook plugin and while I had option of using Hoowla’s letter pack they have set up all of my own letters for me.

All client ledgers, invoices and completion statements can be created within the system and the ability to download the file when you close a transaction means its great for easily storing a copy of the case on my own computer as well as within Hoowla and as a hard copy.
Finally, my clients also love Hoowla as they can be invited to have their own account to track their case online as well as receiving notifications when a milestone is marked as complete.

In one sentence, why would you recommend other firms use Hoowla?

Really straightforward case management system which is easy to use for operatives and clients alike with great customer support behind it, and all at a reasonable cost.
