MoneypennyMoneypenny has partnered with business development specialist and author, Professor Ian Cooper, to host a series of exclusive events throughout March to help law firms convert more telephone leads into clients.

The events follow the publication of the survey and report on ‘Legal Firms: Converting Telephone Enquiries into Business’. During the events Professor Cooper will share some of the astonishing findings; highlight why almost every firm is losing potential business and provide some powerful practical tips on what firms need to do to dramatically increase their conversion rate of telephone enquiries into profitable business.

Bernadette Bennett, Commercial Manager at Moneypenny, said: “In every law firm, the pressure is on to convert enquiries into clients and increasingly we are seeing firms looking to adopt best practice. Professor Cooper’s report received a tremendous reaction. In response to this, we are pleased to be hosting these events for those in the legal field to come and learn more about how to vastly improve their telephone conversion rate.”

Bernadette continued: “We are experiencing a lot of interest in the events and the limited number of spaces are being filled quickly, so we are encouraging anyone interested in hearing Professor Cooper speak to book a place soon.”

Professor Cooper is Britain’s most experienced specialist in helping legal firms turn more of their telephone enquiries into business and is the author of the ‘Financial Times Guide to Business Development’, as well as another 15 books published in 56 countries.

During the events, delegates will learn about:

  • The 7 things that most firms get wrong.
  • Discover the tried and tested ‘5 step system’ that has helped hundreds of firms increase telephone conversion rates.
  • Hear the strategies that will influence a caller to actively want you…even if you are more expensive!
  • Explore the ‘magic’ questions that most call handlers fail to ask.
  • Discover the influence of getting the ‘telephone basics’ right.
  • Find out how much business you are losing and how much you could win?

The events will be taking place on the following:

Manchester – 2nd March, 9.30-11.30am – Old Trafford, Sir Matt Busby Way, Manchester, M16 0RA

London – 7th March, 9.30-11.30am – The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1PL

Why your firm should support working mothers to the hilt

Georgina Hamblin

If you are going to balance the demands of work and childcare, and stay sane, you need to adapt, and with any luck your firm will adapt with you. In doing so you will both win, and your respective productivity will soar. When I had my son, I realised just how lucky I was. Not only did I have the incredible support of my, and my husband’s, family through this life-changing time, but I had a firm that offered me complete flexibility and control over my return to business life.
