Market favourite Intelliworks gets new look for 2015

Print [1]Legal workflow specialist Ochresoft [2] has released the latest version of its Intelliworks software. Intelliworks is currently one of the fastest growing applications in the conveyancing market, hitting over 10,000 new file inceptions in March.

Version 5 of the Cloud-delivered solution represents the most significant refresh to date of the user interface; the look and feel has been modernised, with clearer layouts, instruction and navigation, and a new colour palette more sympathetic to today’s extended system use and ‘at screen’ time.

Version 5 also sees the useful addition of e-DRS integration, with the system automatically processing applications to the Land Registry, driving down both cost and risk while creating a full audit trail. Delivery of e-DRS is the first phase of a major project with the Land Registry to download key property data directly into Intelliworks workflows to improve efficiency and further reduce risk. Other new functionality includes Smart Updates, which allows all content updates (changes to workflows, precedents etc.) to be downloaded in the background uniformly across the client user base, meaning updates can be released in advance of legal or compliance changes coming into force on any given day.

Pauline Freegard, Ochresoft’s director of business development, comments: “Updating our legal content, which could be anything from complex workflow processes for CQS compliance, clauses in legal documents or the extensive library of some 1,200 letters and forms, is almost a daily occurrence. This is the unique risk management and compliance service that Intelliworks offers compared to any other case management or workflow choice.

Delivering a new version of Intelliworks is a less regular but more major milestone. Version 5 has been refined off the back of a lot of customer feedback – we now have over 1,200 registered users and typically some 800 live users at any one time. User engagement is the key to success with any IT system. The result should tick a lot of the boxes on the wish list, particularly the time-saving e-DRS connectivity. Having previously put so much effort into getting the perfect interplay between workflow and depth of legal content, we’ve now done the same for the user and the application.”
