Linetime [2] are pleased to announce the successful roll out of the new HMCTS SDT interface. Linetime customers who have progressively migrated to the new system are now actively processing thousands of claims, judgments and warrants per week.
The system includes comprehensive auditing, submission control and a unique multi branch option to handle multiple customer ID’s.
The secure data transfer is a secure system to enable customers to upload and transfer data files directly to the HM Courts & Tribunals Service systems. The new system replaces the current CJSM email solution and is available to all customers wishing to issue bulk civil claims and those who currently use the claim production centre in Northampton.
The facility allows digital payment via direct debit with monthly or weekly invoicing and the ability to track the progress of a case on-line in real time. Users can also retrieve and review defences on-line and apply to set aside or vary the judgments. Court fees are significantly cheaper than issuing via paper – on average 18% less and payment by direct debit avoids the cost of preparing and presenting cheques. In addition, the real time access to case progress will reduce the need to contact the court’s call centres.
