LexisNexis [1], a leading global provider of information and analytics, is sponsoring the Rising Star Award 2018 at this year’s Asian Legal Awards held by the Society of Asian Lawyers in London on 27th October 2018.
Recent LexisNexis research has identified that 95% of the small and independent law firms surveyed believe the profession has embraced a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) ethos, while 82% of law firms recognise that to ensure the success of the Future of Law they need to embrace D&I.
This builds a positive picture of D&I in the legal profession when combined with recent SRA research which highlighted a rise in Asian lawyers in the profession, up from 9% in 2014 to 21% in 2017 and stated that Asian lawyers make up two thirds of all BAME lawyers in the UK.
