LexisNexis launches complete corporate and financial suite for LexisPSL

LexisNexis UK has launched its complete suite of financial and finance-related practice areas, added to online practical law service, LexisPSL [1].

The new modules are a response to customer demand for comprehensive and authoritative practical guidance in the areas of tax, banking and finance and financial services law, and complement the existing LexisPSL resource for restructuring and insolvency, and corporate law practitioners.

Lawyers need to have confidence in the decisions they take. LexisPSL walks users through unfamiliar areas using step-by-step guidelines, checklists and calculators. Precedents and automated documents save time, whilst direct access to the most relevant information and quick access to deeper research, primary sources and commentary from the most respected experts in the industry ensures piece of mind.

LexisPSL provides concise and to-the-point practice notes, saving lawyers time and linking directly, when needed, to the underlying authority in LexisLibrary.

Nick West, LexisNexis UK director of legal markets, said: “I’m delighted that we now have the most comprehensive, practical guidance package on the market for financial and corporate lawyers. It’s a priority for us that we answer our customer requests for more business-focused research and guidance resources, giving practitioners the what, how and why of the law.”

LexisPSL now also includes an exciting new service for financial and corporate lawyers: Market Tracker. Users can sign up to two simple services, Alerts and Clauses. Market Tracker Alerts contain deal summaries and trends, with links to public documents, while Market Tracker Clauses also includes a precedent source, along with drafting notes, to ensure best practice is followed.

Mr West continued: “For lawyers working on complex corporate and finance transactions, being able to understand current market practice gives them an edge in serving their clients better. We believe Market Tracker will be an indispensable addition to LexisPSL.”
