As Manchester based digital agency, mmadigital continues to grow its legal client profile it has also expanded its team. Two new recruits join the mmadigital team this spring, both with a wealth of experience in their specialist areas and the legal sector.

The most recent recruit is Gillian Howard who has been appointed the role of Legal Digital Specialist. mmadigital were seeking someone very special and unique for this role, which will see Gillian utilise her vast experience in the legal field, with both her digital knowledge and entrepreneurial skills.

Gillian has trained as a solicitor and is able to provide mmadigital with the expert legal knowledge that gives them a competitive edge as digital leaders in the professional services industry. Not only does Gillian come armed with legal training, but she has also bought and sold her own claims management business.  Seeing a gap in the market for legal firms, and how they market themselves, she developed a business that worked to bridge this gap.

Speaking about her new role Gillian has said, “As someone who has worked in the legal and personal injury industry for 10 years I am greatly aware of the need for solicitors to reform their marketing practices. In particular the digital solutions that they use.

“I am looking forward to using my industry knowledge to ensure that the clients we work with have the best digital marketing strategy in place, in order to push their business further.”

Gillian joins Search Specialist Matt Rycroft, who also has experience of working with law firms. Matt has been working in the new media sector since 1998 and originally worked as a web designer and developer. Matt has previously worked for a number of agencies in both London and Manchester, including his role as an SEO Executive for Manual Link Building the biggest SEO link building company in the UK, with offices in UK, India, America, Australia, and South Africa. His depth of knowledge in major analytic software, Google Adwords and the latest SEO trends, combined with his web development skills, sees him as a real asset to the mmadigital team.

Dez Derry, CEO of mmadigital has said, “We are delighted to have Matt, our SEO Specialist on board, and of course, to have recruited our Legal Digital Specialist. We have a great team who all bring their own expertise to the business. We are really excited about our service offering and how our new recruits will help to provide our clients with something really unique.”
