Mrs Stevens said: “We are delighted to have been ranked in the 2017 Legal 500 Guide for personal injury and medical negligence claims in our offices in London, Leeds and Hull.

“The guide states that we are in the top 10 firms in the country for medical negligence work by fees earned, and one of only a small number with a legal aid franchise for representing families in traumatic cases when a child suffers a neurological injury up to eight weeks from birth.

“It also highlights that although we rightly have a reputation for high-value, complex personal injury work, our commitment to offering a comprehensive service means we also handle injury claims worth between £1,000 and £25,000, something it quite rightly says many firms won’t do.

“It is nice to have been recognised for our campaigning also, and next year we are confident of being listed for our civil liberties work, having secured many cases of national significance in recent times, and having recruited a number of leading human rights lawyers to our team.”
