New subscription suite for law firms looking to grow their business in today’s challenging market.

Lawyer 365 [2] is continuing to line up strategic partners, as it targets 1 July 2021 for the official UK launch of its subscription plans, according to Lawtech 365’s [3] CEO, Rudi Kesic. The Warwickshire-based company has already secured several large national law brands on the platform, all with a significant share of the English legal market, and many smaller law firms have come on board in recent weeks.

“On 1 July, Lawyer 365 is officially launching its subscription offer for law firms looking to use the app and grow their business in today’s challenging market. Following a highly successful three-month ‘free-trial’ phase, Lawyer 365 platform is moving into phase two from 1 July 2021. The platform will offer a choice of three distinct subscription plans to support the needs of firms of all sizes. A key benefit of all the plans is a range of features designed to facilitate online promotion and free initial legal advice by video, something which became paramount during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Law firms with proactive growth strategies have a choice of plans with additional powerful marketing tools”, said Kesic.

“We are partnering with legal networks and law firms that can really provide not just distribution to clients and their members but also be thought leaders and really help us along the way as true partners”, he said at the recent the Lawtech 2021 webinar.

Kesic stated that the company has been hard at work localising the legal app for England & Wales jurisdiction. These efforts take many forms, ranging from tweaks to the AI legal chatbot’s (AILA) natural language processing system to hiring UK-based compliance experts. Importantly, the company’s offering must be fully compliant with the SRA’s administrative framework, which is unique to the English legal system.

The legal sector, like the wider economy, has been forced to adapt at unprecedented speed due to the pandemic. The latest research by Lawtech 365 Group shows lawyers adapting to a nation in lockdown, replacing initial face-to-face meetings with virtual video consultations – often for the first time.

Nearly two-thirds of lawyers have never offered legal advice by video before, and over half (60%) have had to invest more in legal technology over the past 12 months. Most significantly, 96% of respondents said that even after the lockdown they would continue to make video-based legal advice available for those who wanted it.

Interestingly, over 90% of lawyers believed that offering remote advice had actively improved their service. “My clients are now comfortable with communicating with me by video through an app, which is saving me travel time and is generally more efficient”, said lawyer. Another commented, “We’ve been able to take on new clients, who are hundreds of miles away”. A third stated, “Clients seem to be happy to use Lawyer 365 and this will change how we offer our legal services in the future”.

The new Lawyer 365 subscription packs provide greater choice for law firms both large and small, along with the flexibility needed in rapidly changing circumstances. Using one flexible subscription platform, law firms can easily switch between the different plans to take advantage of special features as necessary. The basic “Access Plan” is completely free of charge, and the “Premium Plan” is set at £49 monthly per lawyer. A law firm can therefore address specific needs at key stages of its development, switching subscriptions at times when growth is less of a priority.
