Landmark launches webinars series to support lawyers manage risk in property transactions


Landmark Information GroupLandmark Information, the land, property and environmental data specialists, has announced a new series of webinars that are designed to help property solicitors manage risk relating to residential and commercial property transactions.

The first webinar in the planned series will take place on Tuesday 6 March at midday and is a one-hour session, which provides highly practical guidance focused on Managing Flood Risk in Property Transactions. 

Jointly led by Landmark’s environmental lawyer Simon Boyle and Philip Hill, Account Director, the webinar will consider how the various flood risk types can affect a residential/commercial property transaction. Delegates will learn how they can provide clients with practical information and advice that helps clients understand the risks and take action to address potential problems.

In total, the webinar series will include the following focuses and are designed to support lawyers with their Solicitors Regulation Authority ‘Continuing Competence’ training requirements:

  • Planning risks in residential conveyancing
  • Mining and subsidence – risk, response and remedies
  • Highways and utilities reports: their use in commercial transactions
