Keller Postman UK wins D&I Initiative of the Year award

Group and multi-claimant action firm Keller Postman UK has won the D&I Initiative of the Year Award at the Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards 2023, hosted by Law.com

Akila Jeffers, associate in the firm’s investment fraud and mis-selling team, was recognised for establishing, and championing, an internal committee to raise awareness around diversity and inclusion issues with a series of events and initiatives.

Amy Atkin, head of marketing at Keller Postman UK, commented: “The award is well deserved and we are delighted that Akila’s committed and focused efforts have been recognised externally. Showing a true passion for driving these issues across the business, Akila also mentors the firm’s BAME employees.”

Akila Jeffers joined the firm in June 2021 and also acts as vice chair of the Ethnic Minority Lawyers Division of the Law Society.
