JLT’s Professional Services practice continues growth through strategic senior appointments in London, Bristol and Manchester
JLT Specialty (JLT), the specialist insurance broker and risk consultant, has announced the addition of five members to its Professional Services practice across the UK. The senior appointments will be based in the firm’s London, Bristol and Manchester offices. This announcement represents the latest in a series to continue a trajectory of growth for the Professional Services practice.
JLT’s London office has welcomed Ashley McCluskey from Willis. Ashley has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and will be negotiating and managing complex Professional Indemnity (PI) programmes. He specialises in the placement of PI programmes for a wide variety of professions including solicitors, surveyors, accountants, architects and engineers.
Also joining the London team from Lockton Companies, Danny Seaman has 14 years’ experience advising professional services firms regarding their PI and risk issues. Danny’s key responsibilities will be client retention, providing advice on their PI requirements and managing relationships with key insurers from JLT’s London office.
In Bristol, Bhaven Mashru joins the business from Bluefin with more than a decade of industry experience. He specialises in providing insurance solutions for the professional services market including PI, D&O, office and cyber. Bhaven has extensive experience working with accountancy firms.
Finally, JLT’s Manchester office has recruited two professionals from Aon who offer deep expertise in the North of England and bring significant knowledge and reach to the practice. Kerry Greenwood has over 25 years’ experience working in both underwriting and broking, and has been a PI specialist for the past 18 years. Marianne McWilliams also joined the Manchester team and has over 25 years’ experience in insurance working with a range of clients. In the past four years, Marianne has specialised in PI issues for solicitors and other professional service firms.
JLT’s Professional Services specialises in the legal services sector as well as chartered surveyors and property consultants and will be expanding to new sectors within the professional services industry. It is acknowledged as one of the leading specialist PI teams in the UK representing over 1,000 legal firms ranging from sole practitioners and firms in the high street to practices with a national and global footprint.
