Law firm Irwin Mitchell has announced the appointment of specialist wills, trust and estates disputes partner Gavin Faber as the firm seeks to grow its private client offer in the midlands.
Gavin joins Irwin Mitchell’s Birmingham office as a Partner in the fast-growing wills, trust and estate disputes team led by Paula Myers who joined the firm earlier in 2014.
He makes the move from Higgs and Sons Solicitors and is a well-regarded litigator who works on behalf of people involved in problems with wills and trusts.
Gavin is an affiliate member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in trust disputes. He is one of the few full members of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists in the West Midlands. Gavin is also a member of the Property Litigation Association, the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and the Birmingham Law Society Dispute Resolution Committee.
Over the past year Irwin Mitchell has acquired specialist personal injury practice MPH Solicitors and opened two new offices in Cambridge and Southampton as the firm seeks to grow its personal legal services business.
