The solution is designed to improve case handling for firms through digital workflow management and increased functionality

Independent software company Insight Legal Software today announces the launch of its Enterprise module, to provide law firms with the increased functionality required to enhance task management and improve operational efficiency.

The Enterprise module is designed to help legal practitioners streamline their workflow and drive productivity through software-based case management processes. It enables firms to build bespoke task-oriented workflows to meet the specific needs of the practice, improving time management and allowing for a larger volume of cases to be progressed and completed.

The module contains a range of new features built to enhance decision-making, task ownership and customisation to the firms’ own procedures. Tasks can be allocated to a team or individual by supervisors, allowing firms to be more effective through increased control of processes at every phase of a case. The software’s enterprise-grade time capture feature also underpins all case management activity to produce digital timestamps of work completed, helping firms to track increasing caseloads at scale.

To help firms achieve a streamlined task workflow and improved compliance monitoring, the module enables the full integration of email correspondence and integrated legal forms, improving productivity by ensuring that users always have access to the latest online forms and case information available. To further improve case management, the solution offers automated prompts and reminders to help practitioners remain up to date with tasks as a case progresses.

From 1st August 2019, the Enterprise module will be made available as part of its 1.26 software update. The module will be released as an additional set of functions to Insight Legal’s existing practice management solution. Customers who do not opt to install the Enterprise module will continue to receive the same amount of development on the main software as they are used to.

Commenting on the launch, Brian Welsh, CEO of Insight Legal said: “As a technology provider, we are fiercely committed to delivering the level of functionality that firms of all sizes need to drive maximum value and efficiency through their legal software. The launch of our Enterprise module is an extremely exciting development in our technology, which allows firms who require more workflow-based functionality to effectively manage their cases and perform at their best. We will continue to provide each customer with the amount of technology development and support they require to run successfully and reap the benefits of our award-winning software.”

The launch follows a period of significant growth for Insight Legal across the UK and Ireland, having bolstered its management team and doubling the size of its development team over the last 12 months. The company now serves 800 firms across the region, reporting a 50% increase year-on-year in 2017 and 2018 and has recently expanded its three offices in Farnborough, Glasgow and Belfast as a result.
