‘Innovate and evolve’ – the theme of national SOS user group AGM and conference

Helping law firms to make the best use of their legal software – and achieve their long-term strategic goals – is the theme of this year’s national (SOS) user group AGM and conference.

Entitled ‘Innovate and evolve: Power your vision’, the all-day event takes place at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham, on Tuesday 13 November.

There will be demonstrations of the latest enhancements to SOS software, business-focused sessions on risk and compliance, CRM and marketing, and technical workshops on scripting and data health plus support clinics.

Sector expert Michaela Hardwick, of Beyond Compliance Ltd, will present on compliance and risk management, and delegates will also hear from SOS client Barcan Woodward Solicitors about how the firm has realised the full potential of SOS software.

David McNamara, managing director of Solicitors Own Software, said: “This year’s SOS conference is all about helping firms to maximise their use of SOS so they can achieve their strategic vision. In the changing legal market, progressive law firms are having to innovate and evolve so they can compete differently.”

John Kay, national chairman of the SOS user group, added: “This year’s agenda is laced with practical insights to help us unlock the potential of our SOS software. Our software is indeed an important asset and it can help us improve and underpin how we operate in the long term.”

SRA CPD points are available on many sessions at 2.5 hours for each delegate at the event, which also includes a two-course lunch. There is free parking at The Belfry and a shuttle service is available from Birmingham New Street station.

This event is exclusively for SOS clients. For further information please contact Louise Eagle at Solicitors Own Software on 01225 787700.
