InfoTrack launches Linked Enquiries to transform conveyancing collaboration

InfoTrack logoInfoTrack UK has today announced the launch of Linked Enquiries, a major enhancement to its Enquiries solution that transforms how law firms collaborate on pre-contract enquiries. The purpose-built new feature enables both sides of a property transaction to work together in a single, shared workspace, with no requirement for the counterparty to be an InfoTrack customer.

With the average property transaction now taking 19 weeks to complete, the enquiries stage remains a significant source of delay and frustration. Recent industry feedback confirms that firms continue to struggle with fragmented communication, manual document handling and visibility gaps when working with counterparties. Linked Enquiries addresses these challenges by replacing email chains and Word document attachments with a secure, collaborative workspace where both parties can view and manage enquiries in real time.

How it works

When a firm publishes enquiries, they invite the counterparty to join the workspace using a reply code included on the enquiry document and supporting email. If the counterparty already uses InfoTrack, they access the workspace directly through the platform. If they do not use InfoTrack, they join in a dedicated guest mode at no cost, with secure access restricted to responding to enquiries.

Once connected, both sides see identical, real-time updates of all enquiries, responses and attachments organised by enquiry number. Responses entered by guests appear directly within the workspace, eliminating the need for manual copying and pasting. A complete, timestamped audit trail shows who said what and when, providing clear evidence of the conversation between both parties.

The benefits for conveyancers

By consolidating all enquiry activity in one place, Linked Enquiries helps firms:

  • Reduce delays by eliminating email chains and version confusion
  • Maintain complete visibility of progress without chasing counterparties for updates
  • Remove manual data entry by allowing responses to flow directly into the workspace
  • Strengthen compliance by maintaining a clear, auditable record of all enquiry activity
  • Work with every firm, regardless of whether they use InfoTrack or not

Building on momentum

Linked Enquiries builds on the success of InfoTrack’s reimagined Enquiries solution, which has seen over 7,000 workspaces created since its June 2025 launch. The addition of linked collaboration capabilities reflects ongoing feedback from conveyancers about the need for simpler, more transparent ways to work with counterparties.

Scott Bozinis, Chief Executive Officer at InfoTrack UK, said:
“Email has always been a great business tool, however, it was never intended to facilitate the enquiries process. It’s used because there was no other option. Today we’re fixing that by launching a purpose-built tool specifically for conveyancers to collaborate on enquiries in real time, giving both sides the visibility and control needed to keep transactions moving.”
