Ignite Specialty Risk, a leading provider of litigation risk insurance, has agreed a new schemes insurance programme led by Kyle Stubbs, Head of Strategic Partnerships.

This week marks the launch of a partnership with Hennah Haywood Law under which Ignite will provide ATE (After The Event) insurance for Hennah Haywood’s clients for Civil Actions Against the Police (CAAP) and personal injury cases.

Kyle Stubbs said: “Hennah Haywood is a stand-out leader in the CAAP space, and we are delighted to work with them. Providing cover for CAAP is a new area for Ignite, but we see it as a natural extension of our portfolio that will help to deliver our core aim of providing access to justice for clients who are often vulnerable and may lack resources to pursue compensation. This strategic move is more than just a new facet in our portfolio; it epitomises our resolve to champion the cause of justice, making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals who need it most.”

Nathan Hennah, Partner at Hennah Haywood, said: “The team within Ignite has decades of experience supporting personal injury solicitors and we welcome them as our scheme provider. Our clients will benefit from their dedicated account manager and online portal for claims; while we value their appetite for good client service.”
