Hedges Law welcomes new Head of Client Services

Lucy MorrisonLucy Morrison has recently joined Hedges Law as Head of Client Services, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in both legal practice and training.

Lucy has joined Hedges from Central Law Training, where she was Managing Director for six years. Prior to this, Lucy spent ten years in the commercial litigation team at Gowling WLG, latterly as a senior associate.

This is a newly created role at Hedges, reflective of the firm’s desire to continue to drive forward-thinking, optimal client service delivery. Lucy is excited to be working with the Hedges team to strengthen client relationships and develop innovative approaches to delivering ‘advice for life’ in the post-pandemic environment.

In May of this year, Hedges Law launched its employee ownership scheme, becoming only the fifth law firm in the UK to be employee-owned. All staff, now known as “Hedgeholders”, share in the company’s distributable profit.

Hedges Law has clients throughout the UK, with modern business hubs in Oxford.

Wallingford and Cheltenham. It supports clients on all aspects of their lives: with family and property law advice, dispute resolution, as well as advising on wills, probate and inheritance planning. Founded in 1789, Hedges has been delivering legal services across Oxfordshire and beyond across four different centuries so far: with the business being transferred into the hands of its employees, it looks set to be able to do so for more centuries to come!
