For the second time in 2020, Finders International [2] have been awarded ‘Best Probate Research Firm of the Year’ at the British Wills & Probate Awards [3].

The awards, held virtually on Thursday 21 October, celebrated the excellence among companies operating in the Wills and Probate industry. The judges evaluated the shortlisted firms on aspects such as: company growth, transparency of fees, credentials and accreditations, client satisfaction and commitment to staff diversity.

The host for the evening, Jennie Bond, ex-Royal correspondent, said: “May I give my personal congratulations to everyone involved…Your determination and dedication have shown how the Wills and Probate sector can overcome adversity, especially in the wake of a global pandemic.”

This is the second time in 2020 that Finders International [2] have been awarded this honour as they secured the ‘Best Probate Research Firm of the Year’ award at the UK Probate Research Awards [4], also known as The Probies, in February.

Danny Curran, Managing Director of Finders International, commented: “We are thrilled that two separate organisations, and their judges, have independently recognised the high quality of our work, not least in the same year! It’s all down to our growing, loyal and dynamic team who have made this possible.”

Finders International [2] work with over 4000 solicitors handling cases for the private and public sector. Nearly 50 percent of the firm’s cases are pro bono for local authorities around the UK and this year marks its highest number of pro bono cases in its 22 years of business.
