Efimis [1], the legal financial management platform, is helping law firms give finance, billing and operational teams a clearer view of the information they need to manage work in progress, billing activity and financial performance.
Firms often have the underlying financial data, but it can sit across processes, teams and systems, making it harder to identify exceptions, prioritise billing activity and act before a month end rush. Efimis brings live financial information into tailored dashboard views, helping users focus on specific areas that need attention.
The platform also provides open APIs, enabling firms to connect Efimis with their wider technology environment. In addition, Eve, the in-app assistant, allows users to ask questions of live financial information as decisions need to be made, rather than waiting for reports to be prepared or data to be collated. Eve can then help turn that insight into action by carrying out user-directed tasks such as recording time, entering disbursements and drafting bills.
Tom Spedding, Product Manager at Efimis, said: “The challenge is not simply having financial data, it is making it useful to the people responsible for billing, collections and firm performance. Efimis gives each team a relevant, live view, so they can identify what needs attention and act with greater confidence.”
He added: “That means less time spent pulling information together and more time addressing the matters, invoices or exceptions that could otherwise delay a billing decision.”
