Legalex 2016 on the 11 and 12 May at ExCel London sees the launch of new innovative products from DPS Software [2].

Designed and built by listening to client needs and feedback DPS Web Office [3] is a fully web-based practice management system offering users full access to their files from any device, anywhere and at any time.

All a firm needs to have in place to use the new Practice Management System are computers and a reliable Internet connection. Completely mobile friendly, DPS Web Office also works perfectly on tablets and smartphones.

DPS Web Office is complemented by two new apps- DPS iTime [4] and DPS SafeChat [5]. DPS iTime is an app solely designed for recording fee earner expenses and time remotely on mobile phones. The app is available for download from the iTunes Store.

DPS iTime allows time and expenses to be recorded even when there is no Wi-fi or 3G service, being accessible both online and offline.  The app is fully integrated with DPS Web Office and DPS Outlook Office (DPS’s well-known Outlook integrated case management software).

DPS SafeChat [5] allows fee earners to securely send messages and letters or other attachments directly and securely to a client’s phone. Supporting point-to-point “impossible to intercept” messaging, DPS SafeChat far exceeds the security of emails and can be branded and marketed as the firm’s own app.

DPS SafeChat also works in conjunction with mylegalspace [6] (DPS’s online case tracking solution).

With more than 30 years of experience in this sector, DPS have grown along with the legal profession that has always played an active role in DPS’s product development process.

‘’We have always respected and listened to our clients when designing our software. Their feedback (and change in work habits) has led to the development of our new product range.

They demanded remote working, no hardware constraints, total flexibility and maximum one-touch efficiency. We delivered web-based, mobile friendly applications.’’ explains Osman Ismail, DPS’s Managing Director.
