The Lawyers in Local Government Awards is an even we have enjoyed being part of for a number of years now. This year the event takes place at The Waldorf Hotel in London on the 9th November.

There are two exciting new categories being introduced this year to help further highlight the best of the best lawyers in local government. The “Public/Private Partnership and “Significant Contribution to Local Government Law and Practice”. Nominations will open from 23rd July.
Lawyers in Local Government: “Lawyer of the Year”
DPS are once again sponsoring one of most prestigious and coveted individual award, “Lawyer of the Year”. According to the Lawyers in Local Government website this award will “recognise outstanding achievement by a local authority lawyer/team demonstrating innovative and practical approaches to the governance of local authorities including openness, transparency, accountability and resilience.”
DPS will be there represented once again by the head of our Public-Sector Team, Gavin McBride Wilson as well as several current clients from within local government.
