What kind of system were Timms Solicitors using prior to Hoowla’s  Conveyancing Quote Calculator?
Historically we used an excel spreadsheet but needed a system that was less ‘clunky’ and that everyone could use. We were looking to improve the start of the client journey and quantify our marketing efforts.
We also wanted a system that could allow us to securely record client data and easily draw statistics for use by the conveyancing department, marketing and the partners.

We use the Conveyancing Calculator in two ways; internally which allows us a quick and easy to give clients quotes over the phone and with a customised button on our website to allow clients to request an instant quote 24/7.
Whichever method is used the quote is branded with our logo and details and personalised to the client. It can be emailed direct to clients or printed to send through the post, which gives prospective clients a great starting experience with Timms.
Within the Hoowla system we can see when a client has viewed the quote and they have the ability to accept the quote online. If a client requires changes to be made it is easy for a member of the team to do so and resend the quote.
If the client chooses not to accept the quote we are easily able to contact them to ascertain feedback.
From a business point of view the Hoowla Quote Calculator is invaluable. The volume of enquiries coming into the business is recordable and we can identify conversion rates. We have full control over admin functions such as price changes, adding new staff etc and the system also gives us accountability of who is taking quotes as well as allowing staff members to quote on another’s behalf.
