CTS Launch a Free COVID-19 Response Helpline to Support UK & I Legal Sector

CTSOn 15th April 2020, CTS, the cloud provider to the legal sector, has launched a free COVID-19 response helpline. This new service is designed to support the legal sector in overcoming the obstacles presented by remote working over the next couple of months, as law firms adapt to the changes triggered by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Delivered via an online live chat service and manned by senior technical consultants, CTS’ COVID-19 response helpline has been created to provide answers to practical remote working challenges, together with more in-depth strategic guidance for larger, more complex issues. CTS consultants are on hand to deliver expert advice on a range of areas such as security considerations for an agile working model, remote access and connectivity challenges, infrastructure outage risk mitigation, and remediation guidance around regulatory and GDPR compliance concerns.

“Over the past several weeks, CTS has recognised the impact that COVID-19 has had on the business continuity of the legal sector and the pressure this has placed on in-house IT departments. We have been dedicated to enabling agile working for law firms for the past 12 years and are fully committed to supporting the sector through this uncertain time. By offering a direct channel to our most senior technical consultants, we can provide fast responses to firms as they navigate through this period.” said Mohamed Bakeer, CTO of CTS.

CTS is the only provider of cloud and managed IT services purely dedicated to the UK & Irish legal sector. Working closely with the leading legal software vendors means that CTS’ expertise covers the complete range of legal software applications – from dictation to case and practice management. This equips CTS with a unique skillset, combining technological and legal sector knowledge.

Law firms are currently facing a number of challenges as a result of the government-enforced lockdown and the requirement that all employees work from home. The specialist advice bestowed by CTS via this service will assist law firms in creating a robust, agile working model that will see them through these unprecedented times.
