Conveyancing teams are missing out on simple efficiency gains according to search specialist ETSOS .
A recent survey revealed that only 27% of respondents using a case management system (CMS) had their search provider(s) integrated within that system. But with 94% of those reporting improved efficiencies as a result of such integration, it would seem to be a quick win for those seeking extra productivity and service gains.
Explains ETSOS’s Paul Coombes, “If your search provider sits within your case management system, then in effect you’ve got one unified system and the user doesn’t have to keep switching windows and cross-referencing multiple systems. Ordering and review can all be done in a couple of clicks from the CMS, with no re-keying needed and searches and reports returned directly into the case plan.
“The resultant audit trail is a box tick for compliance, disbursements are more easily managed, and there’s also visibility of progress and findings for customers coming in via online CMS portals.”
ETSOS currently integrates with a number of leading CMS solutions and is about to launch a marketing campaign to highlight the benefits of more unified working.
