Conveyancers vote for top 10 local land charge teams in England and Wales

The top 10 performing local land charge teams in England and Wales, as voted for by conveyancers and solicitors, have been revealed today by Land Data, the National Land Information Service (NLIS) regulator. The winner of the Customer Satisfaction Award will be announced virtually at the 2022 Land Data Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence on 9 March 2022. 

 

The top 10 finalists in alphabetical order, with supporting, anonymous comments from conveyancers and solicitors, are: 

Arun District Council 
An absolutely excellent team of people who are efficient and knowledgeable at their jobs. They are happy to assist with additional queries and communicate swiftly and in a friendly manner. The team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.” 

Brighton & Hove City Council
The LLC team are very quick at responding and providing the correct information in full, first time around. Very impressive service.” 

Cambridge City Council 
“The LLC team at Cambridge have been fantastic for the past two years since the pandemic impacted everyone. They have made the relevant changes to their procedures to ensure that results are returned as quickly and as fairly as possible. Really excellent service provision. Thank you to all involved.”  

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council  

“Always helpful and prompt in answering enquiries and delivering search results.” 

East Suffolk Council

The supporting comments received from conveyancers show how valued local land teams are, and how many go above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service.”

Acknowledging achievement and recognising excellence in the profession, as shown by these top 10 local land charge teams at this time, is more important than ever.” 

The Customer Satisfaction Award, is one of five awards to be presented as part of the Local Land Charges Training & Development event on 8 and 9 March, which also includes categories celebrating the Best Performing LLC department, the LA Searches Team of the Year, and the Unsung Hero Award. 

Since their launch in 2008, the annual Local Land Charges (LLC) Awards for Excellence remain the only national awards celebrating the achievements and successes of local authority local land charges departments across England and Wales.
